Putin: Russia to use only market tools to solve economic woes

NOVO-OGARYOVO, Moscow Region, Jan 21 (PRIME) -- The government will use only market mechanisms to solve Russia’s economic troubles, President Vladimir Putin told the government on Wednesday.

“Of course, we must and we will act following the logic of market economy, we will be guided only by these principles,” Putin said.

There is no doubt that the government can cope with its social obligations in the current conditions, Putin said, adding this is number one priority of the anti-crisis program.
